Eligible Verizon customers can check the My Verizon app for Verizon Shine Daily Drops, which can include gift cards, restaurant offers, entertainment perks, merchandise, event tickets and other limited-time rewards.

Daily Drops can have limited quantities and some are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so it helps to check the app before the scheduled claim time.

What Is Verizon Shine?

Verizon Shine is part of Verizon's current loyalty program. It gives eligible customers access to Daily Drops, weekly Epic Wins sweepstakes, ticket opportunities, presales and other Verizon customer benefits.

For freebie hunters, Daily Drops are especially useful because they may include gift cards, food offers, merchandise and digital benefits.

Verizon Shine Daily Drops weekly schedule with gift cards and customer perks

The current week's offers are reported to become available around 3:00 p.m. Eastern Time, or 12:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

Important: This weekly schedule is based on current community reports. Verizon controls the final offer, quantity, eligibility and claim time. Always confirm the current Drop inside the My Verizon app.

How to Claim a Verizon Shine Daily Drop

  1. Open or download the My Verizon app.

  2. Sign in with your eligible Verizon account.

  3. Open the Me tab.

  4. Select Shine.

  5. Review the Daily Drops shown for the current week.

  6. Check the availability time displayed on the offer you want.

  7. Return when the Drop opens and claim it before available inventory is gone.

Once you claim an offer, its redemption details can be found in the Verizon Shine History section.

Do You Need to Enroll in Verizon Shine?

No separate Shine enrollment is currently required. Verizon says eligible customers can access Shine by signing in to the My Verizon app and selecting Shine from the Me tab.

This is different from older Verizon loyalty programs, so customers should follow the current My Verizon app experience rather than relying on outdated instructions.

Who Is Eligible for Verizon Shine?

Verizon currently lists the general eligibility requirements as:

  • Age 18 or older.

  • A U.S. resident.

  • An active standard monthly Verizon mobile or Verizon Fios account in good standing.

Business and prepaid accounts are currently excluded. Verizon Shine is also unavailable to residents of Guam, Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.

Individual Daily Drops can have additional conditions or geographic restrictions.

Does Verizon Charge for Shine?

Verizon does not charge an additional participation fee for eligible customers to use Verizon Shine.

You do, however, need an eligible active Verizon service account. Individual third-party offers may also have their own redemption rules.

Are Verizon Daily Drops Really Free?

Many Daily Drops are genuine customer rewards such as gift cards, complimentary offers, merchandise or digital benefits.

Some partner rewards may still include redemption conditions, expiration dates, participating-location rules or other restrictions. Always review the terms displayed with the specific Drop.

Are There New Drops Every Day?

Not necessarily. Verizon says Daily Drops are offered frequently throughout the week, but it does not guarantee that a new Drop will be available every single day.

The week's upcoming Drops are generally visible in Verizon Shine starting Monday, and each offer shows when it becomes available to claim.

Why You Should Check Before the Drop Time

Some Verizon Shine rewards have limited quantities and are distributed first come, first served.

For popular gift cards or restaurant offers, being signed in before the scheduled release time can make the claim process easier.

Tips for Claiming Verizon Shine Rewards

  • Keep the My Verizon app updated.

  • Sign in before the Drop opens.

  • Check the week's upcoming offers every Monday.

  • Confirm the exact claim time shown in the app.

  • Read the expiration date immediately after claiming.

  • Check participating locations before traveling to redeem a restaurant or entertainment offer.
