If you want a mailed copy, include your street address, city, state and ZIP code.

Email or Mail: Which Should You Request?
An Emailed Sample
Email is a convenient option if you prefer reading on a screen. Double-check your email address before submitting, and watch for a reply from the publisher.
A Mailed Sample
If you prefer a physical magazine, provide your mailing address. The form specifically marks the address field as being for mailed copies only.
The page does not list where mailed samples can be sent. If you are unsure whether your location is eligible, ask in the message field rather than assuming delivery is available.
What Is Backyard Poultry About?
Backyard Poultry focuses on keeping poultry, including chickens, ducks, quail and other birds. It is a publication to consider if you enjoy learning about backyard flocks or are exploring the hobby.
The sample request page does not identify which issue will be supplied. You should not expect a particular cover or a specific month’s articles unless the publisher confirms them.
Is This a Free Subscription?
The offer is for a sample issue. It does not promise a free year of magazines or ongoing access to the publication’s archive.
The sample form does not display payment fields or automatic-renewal terms. Any paid subscription offered elsewhere on the page should be reviewed separately.
When Will the Sample Arrive?
No delivery estimate or closing date is published on the sample request form. Save any confirmation or reply you receive and follow the publisher’s instructions.
Double Deal checked the official request page on October 5, 2026. We have not tested sample fulfillment.
